Frequently Asked Questions

PaquaLyte is simply made from water and high purity salt (sodium Chloride) and electricity to produce the active ingredient, Hypochlorous Acid (HCOL),. Mother nature has an internal process for producing HCOL naturally, in every mammal, via our white blood cells and it is a significant part of our immune system. It protects our bodies from the attack of harmful bacteria and pathogens.

PaquaLyte is manufactured within our plant by engineers in Portsmouth UK to strict Internationally recognised Standards.  PaquaLyte is not reliant on any third party to manufacture its own product.

Extensive testing proves that it kills 99.99% of bacteria, viruses, spores and fungi, in less than 30 seconds.

Tests in compliance with EU Regulations show that PaquaLyte is 99.995% effective at killing bacteria, viruses, fungi and spores.  PAQUALYTE is effective against Covid- 19 – see test results.

es perfectly safe. It is will also not harm animals or plants. If you get it in your eyes then simply rinse with water. It kills spores,  viruses and bacteria effectively. PaquaLyte conforms to the European Biocide Regulation EU528/2012

There are worldwide concerns about the use of VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds) in industry, with some non-medical industries moving to drastically limit the use of Alcohol in operations.  Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA) is recognized as being a chemical which contributes to Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) emissions as well as being flammable and should be kept away from heat and open flames.  VOCs are carbon containing chemicals that react with sunlight and the atmosphere to cause smog.

We would recommend using within 12 months of purchase.  Paqualyte will remain active for at least 6 months if stored correctly.  You should store in a cool dark place and always out of direct sunlight.

No PaquaLyte does not need diluting.

Poor quality water has the potential to cause gastro-intestinal diseases which can quickly spread. Our systems do not use any hazardous chemicals and can draw from any fresh water source, such as lakes, rivers, streams and ponds, even those that are heavily contaminated, to give safe, fresh drinking water and sanitation where they are needed most.

All our sustainable water purification systems have potent bactericidal and extractive properties, offering a wide range of natural and highly effective applications to the farming industry.

PaquaVida improves soil quality and growing conditions, increases crop quality and yield, safely disinfects grain and prevents disease, prolongs shelf life of vegetables and fruit, purifies irrigation water for crop spraying, and controls pests.

By providing fresh, clean drinking water, our system ensures a healthier better quality livestock, and helps to reduce disease.

The PaquaVida process produces a natural by-product called PaquaLyte which provides a cleaning solution that, unlike many other industry solutions, complies with stringent BS17272 standards. Our environmentally friendly process provides a thorough disinfection and fungicide solution.

PaquaVida has very low energy requirements and can be run from solar and/or wind turbine power, so will operate completely off-grid or in remote locations.

The PaquaVida system eliminates the biofilm and scale within the system and the residue Paqualyte in the cleaned potable water will over time clean the existing infrastructure pipework our systems deliver to.

Running costs are a fraction of the cost of buying water in, so people can move away from transported tanked water, or move their current water treatment system to this more sustainable option.

Maintenance requirements are minimal as the system is completely autonomous. It just needs the occasional top-up of salt for onboard disinfection production. The system produces a – biocide disinfection solution called PaquaLyte, which is automatically injected into the water flow in the unit that eliminates biofilm in the pipework and membranes that is the major cause of water filtration systems.

Yes, our sustainable PaquaVida system employs electrolysis and filtration for water purification, without the use of any hazardous chemicals. PaquaLyte is produced  automatically as part of the PaquaVida water purification process, therefore reducing the need for additional transportation to the system. Paqualyte will revert back to water and small amount of salt if spilt. Additionally, our PaquaLyte bottles and containers are refillable to reduce waste.

Our Results

“The data from this trial clearly demonstrates that the water purification system can provide biologically safe drinking water from a heavily contaminated raw water source.”
